Vois combines local TTS with a script editor, multi-track timeline, mastering pipeline, and export presets in one app. Paid plans have no per-character fees, and scripts are not uploaded for TTS or mastering.

What happens when I cancel?

You can cancel anytime with no penalty. Keep all audio you have generated; your files are yours forever. You will just lose access to generating new audio until you resubscribe.

When does Vois require an internet connection?

Vois needs internet access for setup, model downloads, activation, and periodic license validation. Speech generation, editing, mastering, and export run on your device, and your scripts and audio are not uploaded for processing. After a successful validation, local production can continue for up to 1 day while the license remains active.

Vois runs on macOS 12+ (Apple Silicon) and Windows 10/11 (64-bit). We recommend 16 GB RAM and at least 10 GB of free disk space for the application and AI models. GPU acceleration is optional but speeds up generation 2-6x on supported hardware.

Voice cloning is a paid feature on Subscriber and Pro. Provide 10 to 15 seconds of your own voice or a voice you have permission to clone; 15 seconds is the sweet spot. Vois creates and stores the custom voice on your device. Export credits unlock export only, not cloning.

Vois supports commercial production for YouTube, podcasts, audiobooks, courses, games, and other projects. Follow the current Vois terms, each destination platform's rules, and any permissions attached to a cloned or third-party voice.

Yes. Vois is designed for cloning your own voice or voices you have permission to use. You must confirm you have the voice owner's consent before cloning. The license agreement prohibits unauthorized voice cloning.

Export credits are our pay-as-you-go option: export finished audio without a subscription. One credit equals one export, regardless of length or format. Credits never expire, so you can use them whenever you are ready. You can buy them in packs of 1, 3, or 10 from the pricing page. Subscribers do not need credits because their plan already includes unlimited exports.

Do I need credits if I subscribe?

No. Subscribers get unlimited exports as part of their plan. Export credits are designed for people who want to use the free tier for generation and only pay when they need to export. If you subscribe, you will not need to buy credits at all.
